This is a 32K EPROM card for the Cambridge Z88 Portable computer, which were released simultaneously in February 1987.

As Eprom packs could retain memory even when disconnected from a power source, unlike RAM packs, they were very useful as a small, backup file for the portable Z88.

This simply plugs into one of the Z88's three expansion slots to provide you with an additional 32K of storage space on your system.

With these cards, you could store a file, but not erase it, for that, you needed the EPROM eraser.

If you altered a file, it could be saved, but the machine would render the previous version obsolete, it would still take up space on the card.
